IDC was founded in 1995 as the Independent Dairy Consortium Ltd after the Milk Marketing Board was disbanded, in order to bring together a large network of small and regional dairies throughout the UK to offer truly national coverage. We have been offering efficient and friendly service ever since.

We currently use more than 100 local dairies, from regional companies such as Pensworth and Graham’s to smaller outfits such as Jackson’s Dairy in Stockport to service around 1670 sites nationwide. Our suppliers’ ranges include butter, cream, cheese, bakery products and more.

We ensure that all our suppliers are fully accredited. The standards we check for include:
