October 2020
Starting with broccoli and cauliflower, both of which are still UK (mainly Lancashire) and proving excellent in quality and have not moved either way on price throughout September and remain as competitively priced for October.
August 2020
Throughout July we have seen a much steadier supply chain across all fresh produce from both UK and overseas. There have been fewer sudden shortages (for various reasons) that led to sharp price increases than we’ve seen in previous months.
July 2020
Summer has arrived! A lot of UK produce starts to come into season at this time of year and throughout the months of July and August, we will start to see an array of wonderful UK produce.
February 2021
We can only start with the recent Storm Filomena, the worst snowstorm to hit Spain in 50 years, hitting the supply of salad staples such as lettuce and tomatoes.
April 2021
